The Future of SBPDL

No post today. I'm so mad at Facebook for deleting my Paul SBPDL account, I can't even put together a cogent sentence.

I pity those who stifle who free speech. Tomorrow, expect two posts.

Facebook deleted SBPDL account

SBPDL decided to start a Facebook account, so that we could better serve the growing community of readers we have attracted.

After only two weeks on Facebook, we had nearly 500 friends. However, this all came to a crashing end today, as for some reason the account was disabled.

Obviously, we are upsetting people with SBPDL, or else this would not have happened.

Stuff Black People Don't Like includes free speech and more importantly their strong allies in disingenuous white liberals work diligently to extirpate any discussion of Black people for fear that HATE FACTS will be brought into the equation.

And once Hate Facts and Black people are brought into the equation, the situation reaches critical mass.

This website was created as a joke, obviously owing much to the impressive work Stuff White People Like (which is a very seditious website itself, which few people recognize).

We are working to educate the world on Stuff Black People Don't Like, and have been overwhelmed with the response and the site continues to grow in popularity (or in complete disgust) daily.

However, our reach has been stymied by Facebook, a once inspiring social networking site that seems to only attract white people to its membership, but now works to openly discriminate against ideas it deems insidious.

Chris Hughes, is a supporter of Mein Obama, the General Zod of the intolerance, and one of Facebook's co-founders.

Fast Company, a progressive, left-wing magazine that chronicles business, ran a glowing article of this individual, who also spearheaded the Obama online campaign:

"Chris Hughes is having a philosophical moment. "I don't really know what 'community' means. And I never use that word."

We are in Washington, D.C., just three days before his most recent boss, Barack Obama, will take office. It is so bone-jarringly cold that even nestled over coffee inside a Starbucks, we can see our breath. I resist the urge to pat his nearly whiskerless cheek, or reach over to tighten his jacket against the frigid air. Such a baby face. But at the age of 25, Hughes has helped create two of the most successful startups in modern history, Facebook and the campaign apparatus that got Barack Obama elected."
One thing is now obvious: the co-creator of Facebook and an ardent supporter of Mein Obama has ensured that free speech regarding his president is not allowed and no discussion that isn't obsequious is allowed on Facebook.

Instead, all that is allowed on Facebook is stuff like this: people praying to Obama.

Free speech is a causality in the new world we live in. Facebook won't allow it, and soon, no online institution will.

Stuff Black People Don't Like has touched a nerve, and it won't stop anytime soon. The world needs to know the truth, and SBPDL will be there to help lead you down the rabbit hole. How far are you willing to go?

#5. Classical Music

Madonna implores us, “music makes the people come together.” Yeah.

Black people love music. Love it. Black people love music so much that when you travel on a monorail system in any major city (Chicago, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York City, etc.) they gladly share the song their listening to with the entire train.

Throughout history, as the various races that populate the globe matured and evolved to their various forms today, music proved an integral tool in connecting the generations and more importantly, in ensuring that traditions and customs would pass on from one line to the next.

In Africa, the ancestral homeland of all people on the planet, music is vital part of life and delivers untold joy and happiness to all in earshot, thanks largely to most important instrument that acts as the foundation of all African music, the drum:

“African musical instruments include a wide array of drums, slit gongs, rattles, double bells as well as melodic instruments like string instruments, (musical bows, different types of harps and harp-like instruments like the Kora as well as fiddles), many types of xylophone and lamellophone such as the mbira and different types of wind instrument like flutes and trumpets.

Drums used in African traditional music include tama talking drums, bougarabou and djembe in West Africa, water drums in Central and West Africa, and the different types of ngoma drums (or engoma) in Central and Southern Africa. Other percussion instruments include many rattles and shakers, such as the kosika, rainstick, bells and woodsticks.”

Black people in America love music. Jazz, Blues and especially Rap are forms of music that tell dual story of both misery and triumph for Black people. Rap music, besides the the lyrics supplied by Black people, owes its existence to the technology supplied by Rober Moog and his invention of the synthesizer, as that electronic musical device brings us modern rap:

"Beats are traditionally generated from portions of other songs by a DJ, or sampled from portions of other songs by a producer, though synthesizers, drum machines, and live bands are also used, especially in newer music."

Black people believe that rap music is finest form of music ever created, the culmination of all of mankind's musical evolution into the finest self-expressive format ever.

The meshing of traditional African instruments with technology has birthed a form of music that will enshrine the culmination of Black peoples influence, as in 2009 Black people have achieved the apex of their dominion of the world.

And yet, a form of music leaves Black people squeamish and is strangely absent from their Ipods, and this genre of music has even been used to repeal criminals from stores:

"For years, the drunks and drug dealers and hookers who hang out at Hartford's Barnard Park have been all but oblivious to the city's efforts to get them to leave. But now the people who live and work nearby are turning to a new weapon in their effort to reclaim the park.

Classical music.

A small band of neighbors is working with the police department to enlist Beethoven, Brahms and Vivaldi in their campaign to clean up one of the city's most notoriously abused public spaces.

"We want the criminals to know we are serious about taking back this park," said neighborhood activist Carol Coburn, who came up with the idea after reading about similar efforts in West Palm Beach, Fla., as well as cities in Canada and Australia."

This interesting crime fighting mechanism, classical music, has been proven to effective in cities all across the world:

"In the past, crowds of up to 25 people would hang out in the lot, which became the site of drug dealing, fights and police responses, according to Patrick Senn, store director at Saar's Market Place.

"But now, people just come and go," said Donna Fischer, a cashier at the store.

The market started using classical music about three years ago to repel loiterers and vandals from their buildings. Senn said the method appears to be working. Since he began playing the music, Senn said he hasn't called police to the lot as much, although the Seattle Police Department wasn't able to confirm that.

Businesses and transportation systems use classical, opera and country music as a crime-fighting tool around the globe.

Several Canadian cities began pumping classical and opera music from speakers in public places, such as subway platforms, to keep people from loitering. London plays classical music in 65 of its Underground stations, drawing compliments from some commuters and transit workers, according to a Transport for London spokeswoman.

...The reason certain types of music work as a crime deterrent, neurologists say, may lie in people's neurobiological responses to things they don't enjoy or find unfamiliar. Production of dopamine, a neurotransmitter linked to pleasure and rewards, is modulated by the nucleus accumbens, one of the brain's "pleasure centers."

When people hear music that they like, that stimulates dopamine production and puts them in a better mood. But when people dislike the music, their brains respond by suppressing dopamine production — souring their mood and making them avoid the music."

Classical music, the crime fighting tool that is centuries old and produced solely by dead white males, strangely is poison to Black people:

"Classical music is a broad term that usually refers to mainstream music produced in, or rooted in the traditions of Western liturgical and secular music, encompassing a broad period from roughly the 9th century to present times. The central norms of this tradition became codified between 1550 and 1900, which is known as the common practice period.

European music is largely distinguished from many other non-European and popular musical forms by its system of staff notation, in use since about the 16th century. Western staff notation is used by composers to prescribe to the performer the pitch, speed, meter, individual rhythms and exact execution of a piece of music. This leaves less room for practices, such as improvisation and ad libitum ornamentation, that are frequently heard in non-European art music."

Names like Beethoven, Wagner and Tchaikovsky send shivers down Black people's spines, like nails on a chalkboard.

Why is it that Black people find classical music so abominable and unpleasant to the ears? The harmony of the many instruments working together perfectly under the skillful guidance of a conductor, or perhaps the pageantry that surrounds a formal orchestra and a concert?

Could it be a more sinister answer? James Baldwin, a famous literary figure because he was Black writer, said this, which sums up the not inconsiderable hatred Black people have for classical music:

“I know . . . that the most crucial time in my own development came when I was forced to recognize that I was a kind of bastard of the West; when I followed the line of my past I did not find myself in Europe but in Africa. And this meant that in some subtle way, in a really profound way, I brought to Shakespeare, Bach, Rembrandt, to the stones of Paris, to the cathedral at Chartres, and to the Empire State Building, a special attitude. These were not really my creations, they did not contain my history . . . I was an interloper; this was not my heritage.”

Movies in the United States have long been enhanced by beautiful musical scores from modern composers like James Horner, John Williams, Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore. It is this brilliant music that connects white people to the vast historical legacy they have inherited, but refuse to acknowledge.

Black people refuse to acknowledge any portion of classical music, to the jubilation of store owners everywhere whom play Chopin with increasing regularity.

Music is what bind us all to the past, a clear mark of refinement that goes far beyond culture, for it is an extension of the racial soul, and Black people have found their racial soul primarily through the medium of the drum. Stuff Black People Don't Like though, is classical music, for James Baldwin summed up the reason in exact detail.

Organized Communities...

SBPDL has been sitting on The Reality of Cook County story for sometime, and felt in the horrific and violent death of Derrion Albert the time for holding out on this important piece was over.

RIP Derrion. Your death is the result of our nation - a nation of cowards - who refuse to confront the reality of race in America without name calling and resorting to silencing Hate Facts.

Sadly, the President of the United States, Mein Obama, has yet to say the actions of the four Black youth arrested for Derrion's death acted "stupidly"...

For all intents and purposes, Stuff Black People Don't Like is a site that tries to present unpleasant facts in as positive a light as possible.

Black people, however, refuse to admit the seriousness of the situation that Black people face - collectively - in America. SBPDL.com has documented the reasons that this is, and it goes far beyond the hero worship of Zod Obama.

It's time to stop being cowards. We must have a truthful national discourse on race in America. President Obama, the great community organizer from Chicago, it is obvious YOUR community is in complete disharmony.

The financial meltdown of the United States is upon us, and by all intents and purposes, what we witnessed in Iceland could happen in America at any time.

The reality of the impending collapse of the dollar though, doesn't portend for as civil a riot as our Nordic friends in Iceland participated in, for we know that Black people don't like to be out-rioted.

Imagine New Orleans 2005 in every city. This is a scenario that sounds apocalyptic, yet the reality of the United States becoming insolvent is no longer a nightmarish dream.

It might just be around the corner. Think how many stores closed their doors in 2008:
"Circuit City. Linens 'N Things. Bombay Co. They're all out of business, their stores shuttered, many employees laid off."
KB Toys is gone. Foot Locker is fading. Other major companies, from Hertz to Sprint-Nextel are facing Bankruptcy.

These companies that collapsed and that are facing extinction, employed and employee a lot of Black people.

No one will admit what is coming, so SBPDL will. Civil unrest is rising in America and Zod-Obama is watching as Middle American Radicals (MARs) are marching on DC. Black people are killing other Black people at an alarming rate.

Riots are coming
. And SBPDL was the first to warn you.

#414. The Reality of Cook County

Black people love life under Mein Obama, the General Zod of Black people the world over. Regardless of the sorrowful state of the economy and the massive job loss for Black people, the admiration that Black people display for Obama will never cease.

More importantly Zod-Obama has empowered the most diverse cabinet in history with a plethora of color that no amount of bleach could ever impair:
"There are those who will never accept that and who seem to think that white males have a monopoly on merit. For them, this entire diversity accounting system is silly and even offensive. They insist that staffing a Cabinet should be like picking a doctor, where you choose the best person regardless of race or background. It's easy to say that when many of the people in government look like you."
No, when you go to a doctor, Black people prefer that that doctor look like them as well, regardless of their merit. Had Michael Jackson not practiced this logically line of thinking, he might still be with us today:
"Michael Jackson’s personal physician will be charged with manslaughter within the next two weeks, a law enforcement source told FOXNews.com."
Of course, no discussion of the greatness of Mein Obama could be complete without mentioning his move to anointing into paid government positions numerous Black people as Czars. Attorney General Eric Holder famously challenged white America (those cowards) to a debate about race:

"Race, Holder said, "is an issue we have never been at ease with and, given our nation's history, this is in some ways understandable. ... If we are to make progress in this area, we must feel comfortable enough with one another and tolerant enough of each other to have frank conversations about the racial matters that continue to divide us."

In his speech, Holder urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a chance for honest discussion of racial matters, including issues of health care, education and economic disparities. He also used more blunt language.

"Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," Holder said."

A debate on race? That would probably mean Hate Facts would have to be brought into the equation and in polite society, that is just unacceptable, the truth be damned!

However, the cowards that are white people were presented with the disgraced former Czar of green jobs, Mr. Van Jones, and an interesting argument, as he said:
“You’ve never seen a Columbine done by a black child. Never. They always say, ‘We can’t believe it happened here. We can’t believe it was these suburban white kids.’ It’s only them. Now, a black kid might shoot another black kid. He’s not going to shoot up the whole school."
Now, you cowards who might be reading this, prepare to engage Attorney General Holder and the rest of the people who fall lock-step into formation behind Zod-Obama with the reality of Cook County, where a veritable Columbine happens daily in the streets:

"Chicago police geared up to provide extra security at Fenger High School on Monday as they reviewed a graphic amateur video showing a student beaten to death with wooden two-by-fours.

The nearly three-minute video, shot by a girl who attends Fenger, captured the gruesome melee as it unfolded. Derrion Albert, 16, is seen being struck then stumbling to the ground; teenagers then continued to viciously punch, kick and strike him with the wooden boards. The additional evidence is aiding the investigation, Chicago police said."
Ah, Chicago, the proud home of Zod-Obama, where in 2008 more murders were committed in the confines of that glorious city than soldiers were killed in Iraq:
Combine the two stories, and the whole 2008 picture — the picture unpainted by members of the media — is made clear:
  • 314 U.S. soldiers died in Iraq;
  • 509 people were murdered in Chicago.
Chicago is roughly 33 percent white, 33 percent Black and 33 Hispanic (okay, Mexican - but Black people don't like to acknowledge that they are now the #3 most populace racial group in America), yet this wonderful racial trifecta hardly correlates into a peaceful utopia (in 2009):

"Since January, according to the Chicago Police Department, one in 10 homicide victims has been 16 years old or younger. Since the last school year began, an estimated 45 Chicago public school students have been murdered, the majority of whom had no gang or criminal affiliation. According to the Chicago Sun Times, Chicago is also home to four of the 25 most dangerous neighborhoods in the country. In many instances, the elderly are being murdered in their own homes, women are being raped and killed coming home from work, and children are being shot - at an alarming rate - while riding their bikes, playing in the park, standing on the street or coming home from school.

Chicago Police Department said that, since January, more than 280 murders have occurred on the streets of Chicago, the majority of which have been with a firearm."
It would be rude to stop there, because Mr. Holder is correct, a national debate on race is vital to understanding the core problems of our nation and, alas, Van Jones was wrong, as Columbine didn't transpire on streets of Chicago over the Fourth of July, but a full-blown reenactment of Mogadishu did:
"The Chicago Tribune - which tracks murders in Chicago on a monthly basis - reported that July 9th, when one woman was strangled and another six people shot to death, was the deadliest day of 2009. During the 4th of July weekend - the bloodiest weekend to date - there were at least 63 shootings and one stabbing, resulting in the loss of 11 lives.

The ethnic breakdown of the victims and the perpetrators is also disturbing. In 2009, 88 percent of the murder victims were male and 78 percent of those victims were black. In 2008, when 511 murders were committed in Chicago, 74 percent of the victims were black and 76 percent of the perpetrators were also black."
Barack Obama's adopted home town, where he spent so many years as a community organizer is awash in the blood of Black people, at the hands of Black people. The building of the great racial bridge that would forever change Black people's fate in America - Zod-Obama's election - has failed to materialize.

Black school children are constantly under attack by other school children in Chicago, a horrifying problem that white people in St. Louis recently were exposed to on a bus, as the lust for violence is migrating to wherever Black people can be found:
"Chicago police officers secure the scene of yet another slaying. The city is setting a grim record this year and many of the victims are young people, as CBS News correspondent Dean Reynolds reports.

Thirty-two Chicago public school students have been killed so far this school year, according to the Chicago Police Department.

And what is almost as disconcerting is the adjustment the that city - and even the children themselves - seem to have made to this uncommon carnage."
The always interesting Drudge Report (Drudgereport.com) has been inundated with truculent images of Black people of late, from Serena Williams, Boise State, Kanye West, St. Louis bus beatings and now the nightmarish sight of Black people attacking a Black student - a straight A student - and beating him to death:

"This is the hard lesson some students at Fenger High School have to deal with after a day of learning. For them it's a hard lesson of reality on the streets.

Thursday after school, two rival gangs got into a fight three blocks from the high school.

In all four students were beaten in that melee -- one was released from the hospital Friday morning.

While police continue their investigation, some students say they don't want to go back to Fenger next week.

Rival gang members have been fighting for a month -- and each time one of their fellow classmates is injured.

No knives and no guns were used in Thursday's fight. Just fists, feet and boards."

Mein Obama failed as a community organizer in Chicago, as evidenced by the community he left behind in Chicago when he sought the US Senator seat in 2004. Van Jones failed in his attempt to denigrate white people as monopoly-holders in the Columbine massacre card, as any viewing of the local nightly news would show. Attorney General Holder has failed in his efforts to stem the growing tide of MARs and white people who are prepared for that national debate on race.

Each moment that ticks by that we as a nation refuse to confront the severity of the problem, more innocent lives like Mr. Albert in Chicago and Michael Jackson, will be lost.

Chicago is a wonderful city, as anyone who saw that metropolis act as a stand-in for Gotham City in the 2008 Hollywood mega-hit "The Dark Knight" could tell you.

However, Stuff Black People Don't Like dishearteningly includes the city that Zod-Obama cut his organizing teeth upon, as the reality of Cook County is beginning to cause those cowards that Mr. Holder caustically dismissed in February of 2009, realize Pre-Obama America wasn't so bad after all. If disingenuous white liberals and crusading white pedagogues ever realize that same reality, well... the chance of that happening is about the same as the Cubs winning the World Series.

Update: Youtube is deleting all videos of the horrible beating in Chicago. Click here to see the tragic death. You will need to verify your age.

#73. Tim Tebow

Football has long been the great racial equalizer in the United States and perhaps the ultimate tool in bringing about equality in opportunity for Black people.

Pro Football was integrated in 1946 and Americans who had never conversed with Black people were now rooting them on as they scored touchdowns for the home team:
"The integration of major professional sports dealt a blow to segregation across the country, causing other racial barriers to fall," said Voinovich, a former mayor of Cleveland. "The players deserve to be recognized not only for their outstanding contributions on the field but for the vital roles they played in history."
College football integrated later, but used Black players from the former Confederate States as prized recruits. You see, Southern schools were some of the last to integrate (as we have discussed), and the Black players that were denied entry to all-white Southern universities found fertile grounds elsewhere (interestingly, most Black people now would be denied entry to many Southern school's and Northern school's, due to new, semi-rigorous standards, if they didn't excel at football).

As noted in a previous post, were it not for college football, most, if not all, major university's in the United States would have only a handful of Black people in attendance. Thank God for football, for without it, diversity would be non-existent at every college in America, sans Historical Black Colleges and Universities.

Indeed, without sports, it is hard to imagine Black people ever gracing the television screens in American households - remember, Black people are only 13 percent of the population - save for Cops, Tyler Perry shows and documentaries that deal with the unsavory elements of our society (we'll come back to this later).

Football is the end all in America, a religion that surpasses Christianity in devout followers across the land. On fall Saturday's and Sunday's, millions pray to the football Gods above to bestow upon their team a victory, and the demise of their lacking in piety opponent.

And yet, amidst the sacrosanct cathedrals that dot the national landscape and each Saturday and Sunday serve as the American version of the great pilgrimage to the Kaaba, a prodigal son has risen who single-handily has become the dominant force in all of football and threatens to revolutionize the game forever.

We are not talking about Michael Vick, a man who some thought would change the game forever, but instead become fodder for late-night comics.

No, we refer to Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, a 22-year-old white quarterback who has been an integral part of two-national championship teams, a role-model and ambassador for the troubled sport and the epitome of all that a student-athlete can represent, as opposed to just athlete-students:

"Tebow was born on August 14, 1987 in the Philippines to Bob and Pam Tebow, who were serving as Christian missionaries at the time. While pregnant Pam suffered a life-threatening infection with a pathogenic amoeba. Because of the drugs used to rouse her from a coma and to treat her dysentery, the fetus experienced a severe placental abruption. Doctors expected a stillbirth and recommended an abortion to protect her life.

She carried Timothy to term, and both survived. All of the Tebow children were homeschooled by their mother, who worked to instill the family’s Christian beliefs along the way."

Tebow, the son of missionaries, didn't require the generosity of a white family to raise him from poverty - like Michael Oher - but instead had the loving support of his biological parents and the strong bond of Christianity that steered him in a positive direction.

His statistics in college have been incredible, and he is a front-runner for winning his second Heisman Trophy:

Passing
Rushing
Season Team GP Rating Att Comp Pct Yds TD INT Att Yds TD
2006 Florida Gators 14 201.7 33 22 66.7 358 5 1 89 469 8
2007 Florida Gators 13 172.5 350 234 66.9 3286 32 6 210 895 23
2008 Florida Gators 14 172.4 298 192 64.4 2747 30 4 176 673 12

Totals 41 183.2 681 448 65.8 6159 67 11 475 2037 43

However, scouts from the NFL wonder if he can produce the same results at the professional level and question whether he can even play quarterback at all:

"On how Tebow's quarterback skills might not transfer well to the NFL: "With a Tim Tebow, there will be a big adjustment to the NFL. It takes smart accuracy, and accuracy in college isn’t the same thing as in the NFL. He's not a pure pocket passer like a Matt Stafford. Can he make all the throws? Can he make all the reads? Can he learn to release the ball quicker? That remains to be seen."

On Tebow's final projection: "I’d say third or fourth round worst-case scenario, second round as a best case. Probably a third-rounder. That’s assuming his workouts are good."
However, it is not for these reasons that Tim Tebow is included in Stuff Black People Don't Like, but for reasons far more sinister and, odd as it may simple, out of resounding jealousy.

As stated, the national pastime is no longer baseball, but football, the sport most revered by men and the one which finds those whom participate in the game, as the most worshiped and beloved men in all the land.

Black people love football for it is how so many Black males attend college, and yet, as Jeff Benedict points out in his book Pros and Cons: The Criminals who Play in the NFL, few of these Black people learn any civic or ethics lessons there:

"According to the authors' extensive research into more than 500 criminal complaints against the league's recent players, a shocking percentage have been formally charged with committing a serious crime (rape, domestic violence, assault and battery, drug dealing, DUI, etc.). This alarming rate — and the gravity of these crimes — will stun even the most ardent NFL fan. This extraordinary book uncovers the true character behind heroes of the NFL and reveals the stories of the players who have turned America's most popular sport into a national disgrace."
This book, written 13 years ago, omits much that has transpired since then, for as Yogi Berra said, "It is hard to make predictions about the future." Michael Vick, Tank Williams, Pacman Jones and his predilection for "Making it Rain", Plaxico Burress, Donte Stallworth and a litany of other Black players had failed to even suit up for an NFL game when the book was written.

Steve McNair, a famous adulterer, was still in college.

According to Jon Entine, who wrote the book Taboo, Black people are perceived to have a monopoly of the genetic slice of athleticism that the DNA Gods bequeathed upon mankind:

"Asians are 57 percent of the world's population but are virtually invisible on the world stage of running, soccer, and basketball. The smallest of the world's major races, people of sub-Saharan African ancestry, are about 12 percent of the world's 6 billion population, yet their dominance of some sports is staggering. Blacks are 13 percent of the U.S. population but are: 80 percent of professional basketball players, 65 percent of professional football players, one-third of professional baseball players, and 70 percent of women's professional basketball players."
And yet, Tebow has been awarded so many trophies and accolades in his tenure as the Florida Gators quarterback that some wonder if every award shouldn't bear his name from now on.

Remember, it was Michael Vick that was to usher in the era of the new quarterback, prophesied with eerie exactness in the Oliver Stone movie, "Any Given Sunday", a film about a talented Black quarterback who would replace the pocket-passing white quarterback.

Yet, it was Vick who spent two-years in jail for his role in dog fighting, and Tim Tebow who ushered in the era of the "Wildcat" offense, as in 2006 he was a formidable passer and rusher out of the QB position for the Gators during their run to the BCS title.

Interestingly, Tebow has spent a lot of time behind bars and in jail(s) too, but not for reasons that mirror Vick's. No, Tebow spends his time in prison proselytizing hardened criminals and men whose vocation and avocation were murder, about the glory of God and Jesus Christ:

"At a time when Americans are leaving organized religion in large numbers, according to a 2008 Pew Research poll, Tebow is leading his own personal counterinsurgency. "Every Sunday we have a service for our players and their families," says Meyer, who remembers when "three or four kids would show up. Now the room's full." Since Tebow's arrival on campus, and in large part because of him, Florida has launched a series of community-service initiatives. Even as the football program has suffered an embarrassing string of arrests, the number of hours players devote to charitable causes has dramatically increased. "Our community service hours are completely off the charts," says Meyer, who describes his quarterback's influence on the team as "phenomenal."
"You should come with us to death row," he tells a reporter on the drive back to Gainesville. "It's gonna be great!"
On July 21, in fact, Tebow and Williams planned to head to the Florida State Prison in aptly named Starke. There, Tebow hoped to be allowed to speak to the 30 or so prisoners awaiting execution. The more incorrigible the inmate, the more Tebow relishes the chance to save him. "Sometimes it's those guys at rock bottom who are the ones looking for a change," he explains. If Lawtey was an early-season nonconference opponent for Tebow, death row was akin to Death Valley, as LSU's Tiger Stadium is known."
Tim Tebow is a college football mega-star, which means he is worshiped by the masses like few men before him, and even fewer will be after. He has the power to make grown men cry, when one of his perfect passes zips over the head of Black defensive back and ensures the Gators beat that grown man's alma mater.

Remember the Rush Limbaugh- Donovan McNabb crisis of 2003?:
"Let's review: McNabb, he said, is "overrated ... what we have here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback can do well—black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well."
Of course you, the sports-fan who salivates for every statistic and rumor as a lonely house wive pines over her soap opera does, recall this event with great clarity. But are you prepared to deal rationally with the onslaught that will greet Tebow when he hears his name called in the 2010 Draft?

Tebow is the ultimate athlete and ambassador for the game, in fact the greatest player to ever lace up cleats in college football history. He happens to be white, enjoys spreading the word of Christ to large-congregations of Black people in prisons and yet, he won't be either an athlete who spends all his money nor one whom ends up in a book detailing the large rap sheets of NFL players.

Stuff Black People Don't Like includes Tim Tebow, the individual who has done more to shine a positive light on football then any student-athlete who came before, or will follow. His parents told he should be aborted, which many Black women do without any professional advice, Tebow is a child who never should have been. Steadfastly demolishing myths like "White Men Can't Jump" and striving to bring hope to Black people in prison (many of whom were once cheered by white alumni of college's and university's on the football field), unlike so many other privileged athletes.

#228. Washington DC Monuments

Black people love Washington DC. It is a city that has allowed Black people the honor of having the gifted orator, Marion Barry, serve as its mayor:

"Barry's other run-ins with the law have included a federal sting operation in 1990, when he was mayor. Surveillance cameras caught him smoking crack cocaine in a hotel room.

Despite his fall from grace, he was re-elected in 1994 to a four-year term as mayor. In his latest political comeback in 2004, Barry won a seat on the D.C. Council, on which he continues to serve.

Barry was arrested in 2002 when traces of marijuana and cocaine were found in his car after he was stopped in the Buzzard Point area of Southwest D.C. No charges were filed, and Barry claimed that the drugs were planted."

Washington DC, the nation's capitol, might be losing its Black population though, as gentrification is driving Black people out:

"The city losing black residents is a continuation of a decades-long trend of black flight from the city. The black population in the city has dropped 16 percent since 1990, when 400,000 blacks lived in Washington.

Despite this loss, Washington is one of only five states where a minority is actually the majority. Approximately 68 percent of District residents are nonwhite, with blacks representing 58 percent of the total population. Although the black population in the District has steadily been declining, the white, Hispanic and Asian populations have been consistently on the rise. Also according to the census, since 1990, the number of whites living in the District has increased 2 percent from about 179,000 to 184,000."

This rapid decrease in Black population, compounded with the vexing problem of staying awake while operating a DC Metro Train, is putting Black people's future in DC in great jeopardy. Sadly, the main problem that plagues Black people, regardless of the loss of their population and the high rates of crime, are the monuments that they must look at each day that glorify Pre-Obama America.

Monuments, you might ask? What are you talking about SBPDL? We're referring to the US Capitol Building, The Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial and The Jefferson Memorial, not to mention the monument to World War II.

Black people can hardly even look at the US Capitol Building anymore, for the realization that Black people in bondage helped erect the building and so few Black people have served as representatives and senators in that building is too much to take:

"In January, President-elect Barack Obama and his family will make history, becoming the first African-American first family to move into the White House -- a house with a history of slavery. In fact, the legacy of American presidents owning slaves goes all the way back to George Washington.

Twelve American presidents owned slaves and eight of them, starting with Washington, owned slaves while in office. Almost from the very start, slaves were a common sight in the executive mansion. A list of construction workers building the White House in 1795 includes five slaves - named Tom, Peter, Ben, Harry and Daniel -- all put to work as carpenters. Other slaves worked as masons in the government quarries, cutting the stone for early government buildings, including the White House and U.S. Capitol. According to records kept by the White House Historical Association, slaves often worked seven days a week -- even in the hot and humid Washington summers."
The Father of Pre-Obama America, George Washington, owned slaves. The Father of New America, Zod-Obama, merely looks upon his conquered subjects with callous apathy, for each day he is in Washington DC, he must look upon the giant obelisk that glorifies Washington:
"The Washington Monument is an obelisk near the west end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., built to commemorate the first U.S. president, General George Washington. The monument, made of marble, granite, and sandstone, is both the world's tallest stone structure and the world's tallest obelisk in height standing 555 feet 5⅛ inches (169.294 m).There are other monumental columns (which are neither all stone nor true obelisks) which are taller. It is also the tallest structure in Washington D.C."
Yes, Washington is a dead white male, and yes, with a giant monument to him being the most noticeable landmark in DC is a bit tough to take, but this is not the main reason Black people don't like the monument.

No, the main reason is because the Washington Monument looks like the hood of a member of Ku Klux Klan. Next time you are in DC, look at the monument at night. Two windows appear lit at the top of the Washington Monument and the top of the obelisk is triangular, which gives the ominous impression of a hooded Klan-men lording over DC.

Worse though, is the Jefferson Memorial, not for what Thomas Jefferson represents and stood for, but for what is omitted from the monuments quotation:

"For example, inscribed on the marble interior of the Jefferson Memorial are the words: “Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate than that these people [the Negroes] shall be free.” Jefferson did not stop there, but went on to say, “nor is it less certain that the two races equally free, cannot live under the same government”—which rather changes the effect.

Another approach to Jefferson is to bring out all the facts and then try to repudiate him. Conor Cruise O’Brien did this in a 1996 cover story for Atlantic Monthly. After describing Jefferson’s views, he writes:

“It follows that there can be no room for a cult of Thomas Jefferson in the civil religion of an effectively multiracial America—that is, an America in which nonwhite Americans have a significant and increasing say. Once the facts are known, Jefferson is of necessity abhorrent to people who would not be in America at all if he could have had his way.” Richard Grenier agrees, likening Jefferson to Nazi Gestapo chief Heinrich Himmler, and calling for the demolition of the Jefferson Memorial “stone by stone.”
Even worse than Jefferson is the Lincoln Memorial, built to honor Honest Abraham Lincoln. Martin Luther King delivered his famous oration "I Have a Dream" under the watchful eyes of the Lincoln, and yet the irony of this is not lost on all Black people, as this quote from a debate in the 1850s shows:

I will say, then, that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races—that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this, that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I, as much as any other man, am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.
These monuments will soon be gone, destroyed to make room for the Black world that will all live in now. Black people might be leaving DC, but it is disingenuous white liberals who are moving in and these people hate the past and the sin of being white more than anyone else on the planet.

They will help remove each brick from the US Capitol, demolish the Washington Monument and its KKK Hood, bulldoze the Jefferson Memorial and build one for Sally Hemings and remove Lincoln from his throne and replace him with General Zod-Obama, for Pre-Obama America is dead forever and the memory of it must be eradicated once and for all.

Stuff Black People Don't Like includes the Washington DC Monuments and the memory of the dead white males that resonate with each glance upon them. Thankfully, a monument is being built to Martin Luther King Jr., to pacify Black people until the other monuments can be replaced, for that day is not far off. And not a moment too soon in the eyes of Black people.

#235. Playing Baseball

"If you build it, he will come," so spoke the ghost of "Shoeless" Joe Jackson in the classic, Pre-Obama America film "Field of Dreams".

The movie showcases America's pastime - baseball - and the deep connection the sport has with Pre-Obama America; the ritual of playing catch with your father; and the dreams that remain crystallized forever when you step onto the baseball diamond, memories so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces.

For Black people however, the film "Field of Dreams" reminds them of all that they were deprived of when they were denied playing in Major League Baseball and were forced to play in the Negro Leagues.

Also, the game of baseball has completely lost its popularity among young Black people, as Major League Baseball (MLB) find itself with less than nine percent of its players Black people:

"When the Red Sox became the final major league team to integrate in 1959 by signing Pumpsie Green, nearly 1-in-5 major leaguers was black. As recently as 1983, the ratio was better than 1-in-4.

Now the figure is closer to 1-in-12.

A report from the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport found that American or non-Hispanic blacks made up only 8.4 percent of major league rosters in 2006. Whites made up 59.5 percent, Hispanics (a group that includes Americanborn Hispanics, blacks from Spanish-speaking countries and others from Latin America) made up 29.4 percent and Asians 2.4 percent.

The percentage of American blacks was the lowest in 27 years.

Further, American blacks held just three of 30 manager positions, one of 30 general manager positions, and 31 of 519 vice president and senior administration positions. There were no American black CEOs or majority owners.

A list compiled by ESPN. com revealed that 69 out of 750 active players (not including the disabled list) on opening day this year were American blacks. Neither Houston nor Atlanta – cities that are 25 and 61 percent black, respectively – had a single American black."

White people, who make up roughly 66 percent of the United States population, are underrepresented in the major leagues, but Black people, who make up roughly 13 percent of the United States population, are slightly underrepresented (considering how many Black males between the ages of 18-35 are in prison, its amazing that the MLB has even that many Black people).

Recently, the 2005 edition of the Houston Astros made it all the way to the World Series and shockingly they did it without the help any Black people:

"Joe Morgan (Black guy) worries about the face of baseball. Watching the World Series, the Hall of Famer is troubled by what he sees.

His old team, the Houston Astros, is down 2-0 to the Chicago White Sox, but it's not their lineup that concerns Morgan. It's their makeup.

The Astros are the first World Series team in more than a half-century with a roster that doesn't include a single black player.

"Of course, I noticed it. How could you not?" Morgan said while the Astros took batting practice before the opener in Chicago. "But they're not the only ones. There are two or three teams that didn't have any African-American players this year."

Morgan said it's a predicament and a challenge for Major League Baseball. While more players from around the world are making it to the majors -- Japan, Korea, for example -- the number of blacks is declining.

"It's a daunting task to get African-American kids into baseball, and I don't see the trend changing," he said.

The last World Series team without a black player was the 1953 New York Yankees. It wasn't until 1955 -- eight years after Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in 1947 -- that Elston Howard became the first black in Yankee pinstripes."

The Negro Leagues Major League Baseball ain't, as every effort to attract young Black people to the game are underway with the MLB's Inner-City Initiative, as the growing problem of few Black people on the 25-man rosters for MLB teams is a threat to all that is good about America.

Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Jim Rice and Jackie Robinson are all names that baseball fans know and respect, but recent Black players in baseball haven't conjured up the same images of the Black baseball heroes of the past:

"According to a report from CNNMoney.com, black baseball players total a meager 8 percent of all the leagues players many people involved in baseball have speculated as to why this is so, players and analysts alike. Gary Sheffield of the Detroit Tigers suggests that the rise in the number of Latino players has a direct correlation to the drop in the leagues overall percentage of black players. He was quoted as saying, ... Its about being able to tell Latin players what to do being able to control them ...Where I'm from, you can't control us... So, if you're equally good as this Latin player, guess who's going to get sent home The Twins Tori Hunter also suggested that it makes more economic sense to pay for a Hispanic player that costs 2,000 than a black player that cost 2 million.

This issue perhaps best relates to the perception of black players in the eyes of the media some of the more prominent black baseball players arent always shown in the best light. Barry Bonds is demonized solely on steroid allegations and his unwillingness to oblige the media. Gary Sheffield is often looked upon as a malcontent, simply because hes opinionated. Tori Hunter may have been viewed as culturally insensitive for his shortsighted comments regarding Hispanic players and baseball economics. All of this may have an unintended consequence, as it would appear that the black youth of America could someday be lacking appropriate black male athletes to emulate."
Hmm... Black youth not emulating Black male athletes? As Michael Vick Haters taught us, too late for that idea.

Interestingly, MLB players like Doc Goodin, Daryl Strawberry and Barry Bonds have done wonders for removing from baseball purists minds the lily-white images of the "glory days" of baseball that were depicted in "Field of Dreams", as that movie indicates the only diversity people want on the ball field is of the European variety (there does exist speculation that Babe Ruth was the first great Black home run hitter, but SBPDL will leave that for you to decide).

What are some reasons for the lack of Black people playing baseball? Here is a list:

--As youth programs dried up the past three decades, basketball courts offered an inexpensive substitute. Then the NBA exploded in popularity.

"Dr. J came along, then Magic Johnson and then Michael Jordan. They got icons that transcended the sport," Solomon said. ". . . It's like golf with Tiger Woods. Tiger didn't save golf. But he made it cool."

--Despite initiatives such as the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program and the Urban Youth Academy in Compton, Calif., many believe Major League Baseball still has not done enough to penetrate America's inner cities. Hank Aaron called on baseball to do more in June to increase participation.

--Baseball's marketing lags behind the NFL and NBA, especially when it comes to exposing its young, black stars, some players said.

"You look at the TV, you see LeBron (James) and you see Kobe (Bryant)," Sabathia said. "You don't see Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins or these guys out there."

--College baseball programs have just 11.7 scholarships to offer, meaning most players do not get free rides -- or even 50 percent scholarships -- unlike football (85 full scholarships) and basketball (13 full scholarships).

--Baseball has been a game passed down from father to son for generations. The absence of fathers in urban communities may have fractured that link.

"Baseball is a sport where you have to have a dad to teach you how to play catch, and a dad to be there with you to teach you the game," Sabathia said. "There's not a lot of dads in the community these days just for whatever reason."

--The increasing importance of travel teams on youth development may prevent working class and poor families from participating.

--The influx of new ballparks has fueled rising ticket prices, putting the game out of reach for many families. The cost of the average ticket rose 5 percent in 2009 to $26.64, according to the Team Marketing Report. The Fan Cost Index, which measures the cost to take a family of four to a game, including food and parking, rose 3.2 percent to $196.79.

Of course, the real reason so few Black people play baseball is for the same reason Stuff Black People Don't Like includes Father's Day, since nearly 80 percent of Black people are born out of wedlock.

Black people find baseball boring for a few reasons that most people don't want to consider: not because the average MLB game lasts three hours, but because the average MLB game is incredibly boring. Black people don't like baseball, not because there is no beer served after the 7th inning, but because there are so few Black players to cheer for in the first place.

Of course, some Black people still believe racism is the problem behind everything and is always the bogeyman behind every evil action of white people:

"An angry Milton Bradley lashed out at his treatment from Cubs fans Wednesday, suggesting he has been the victim of racial abuse at Wrigley Field.

But Bradley declined to give specifics, saying no one wanted to listen to him.

"America doesn't believe in racism," he said sarcastically before repeating the remark.

Speaking to beat writers in the Cubs clubhouse Wednesday before their 9-4 victory over the Nationals, Bradley was asked to clarify his comments from Tuesday night, when he said he faced "hatred" on a daily basis.

To what exactly was Bradley referring?

"I'm talking about hatred, period," he said. "I'm talking about when I go to eat at a restaurant, I have to listen to the waiters bad-mouthing me at another table, sitting in a restaurant, that's what I'm talking about -- everything."
Milton Bradley might be booed by white people, because it is only white people who go to MLB games anymore. He might not get good service at restaurants, because he is a bad tipper, another SBPDL.

Worse, Jackie Robinson, the man who integrated baseball and has an entire day -April 15 - for his honor, can't catch a break anymore, according to Black MLB player Tori Hunter:

"Jackie Robinson was special, and I don’t think a lot of players know what they’re wearing his number for. I think some players are wearing it because the teams want them to wear it. I don’t think they know what’s behind the number.

You don’t have to be African-American to know what he went through. You’ve just got to be a smart person or a person who knows what pain is like.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been called the N-word, like, 20 times. Not in Minnesota. In Kansas City. In Boston.

I think Jackie Robinson went through a lot just for us to play this game. Had he not gone through that, we probably wouldn’t be playing this game. I probably wouldn’t be here today.

Rondell White was going to wear Jackie Robinson’s number, too, but he’s on the disabled list. And Jerry White will wear it. They represent Jackie Robinson, too.

What bugged me was that Houston doesn’t have a black player . . . and this might not be true at all, but, in my opinion, I feel like everybody (on the Astros) is wearing it because they don’t have a black player. A lot of teams are wearing it, and they barely have black players."

SBPDL has tried to tell everyone that Black people will not be happy until everything in America is 100 percent Black. You can't make Black people play baseball and you can' put Black people on baseball teams, just because they are Black. Sorry Mr. Hunter, that is not how it works, as sports are the ultimate test of talent and affirmative action policies don't work on the playing field.

Stuff Black People Don't Like includes baseball, for "Field of Dreams" shows the ultimate fantasy of baseball fans and it simply to another catch with Dad, a sensation that most Black people never felt in the first place. Also, the movie shows what most Black people believe about white people anyway, that they would like to watch only white people play sports.

Baseball will always be a Pre-Obama America game. As the game fades in popularity and relevance, so does the majority population that built America. Baseball is still seen as a white thing, and remember, SBPDL includes Acting White for a reason.

#641. United Nations Declaring Rape a Tool of War

The United Nations is an organization dedicated to helping colored people, especially Black people, on a global scale and simultaneously dedicated to making white people pay for this humanitarian effort.

Recently, the United Nations has decided to debate whether or not rape should be included considered a tool of war, as nations in Africa are seeing an epidemic of rape in war-torn countries:
"Beyond climate change, nuclear proliferation and other hot topics of this month's annual U.N. gathering of world leaders, the international body will address another threat to humanity: the epidemic of rape in conflict-afflicted areas, especially the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who appeared genuinely moved after her August visit to rape victims in eastern Congo, is expected to chair a special U.N. Security Council session at the end of the month to review U.N. efforts to curb the epidemic.

"Meeting with survivors of rape, which is now used increasingly as a tool of war, was shattering," Mrs. Clinton told a New York audience Friday. "The atrocities described to me distill evil to its basest form. These are crimes against humanity. They don't just harm a single individual, or a single family, or village or group. They shred the fabric that weaves us together as human beings. This criminal outrage against women must be stopped."

Contrary to disingenuous white liberals - who believe racist white babies are the pre-eminent threat to the safety of General Zod-Obama and his new America - the greatest threat to peace and stability, according to our Secretary of State, is rape.

It had been hoped that when Pre-Obama America was defeated, the undeclared race war that Civil Rights activists had been waging against every institution in America would end. After all, the nation had just elected overwhelmingly a post-racial president in Mein Obama, who would bring about a new understanding of race and an age of nirvana for all the people of the world.

Instead, violence and aggression is rising throughout America, as the transition into "This is a Black World" now, and the ghost of John Brown is ostensibly leading the wanton violence that comes from Black people, aimed directly at those they seek to dispossess.

Stuff Black People Don't Like is working extra hard to chronicle 365Black and if you glance at the contents of this three-month old website, you will see plenty of examples of the strange rise in vicious attacks aimed squarely at stopping those who they have dispossessed from voting.

Rape, as the United Nations is debating, is one of the worst tools of war and in America, the reality of rape is hard to stomach:

"In the 111,590 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was white, 44.5 percent of the offenders were white, and 33.6 percent of the offenders were black. In the 36,620 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was black, 100 percent of the offenders were black, and 0.0 percent of the offenders were white. The table explains that 0.0 percent means that there were under 10 incidents nationally.

The table does not gives statistics for Hispanic victims and offenders. But the bottom line on interracial white/black and black/white rape is clear:

In the United States in 2005, 37,460 white females were sexually assaulted or raped by a black man, while between zero and ten black females were sexually assaulted or raped by a white man.

What this means is that every day in the United States, over one hundred white women are raped or sexually assaulted by a black man."

The election of Mein Obama was a Pyrrhic victory for race relations in America, as Black people called a ceasefire in their undeclared race war against Pre-Obama America to rejoice in his coronation as Zod-Obama.

That ceasefire is off, as recent actions on a St. Louis bus, Boise State's football field, and a casual viewing of the nightly newscast in your city will unfortunately display.

SBPDL is 365Black for a reason, as we believe McDonald's efforts to educate the world about Black people will ultimately fail. The reason? Outside of sports stars, Civil Right agitators and entertainers, Black people haven't done much, thus the reality is all of the Black achievements could be discussed in roughly a 30-minute infomercial on late-night television.

We work hard to fill those other days with the reality of Black America, even in The Age of Obama.

The United Nations is doing a good thing discussing rape in Africa, as the problem in the Congo is getting bad, but still not near American levels:

"Every day, 10 new women and girls who have been raped show up at his hospital. Many have been so sadistically attacked from the inside out, butchered by bayonets and assaulted with chunks of wood, that their reproductive and digestive systems are beyond repair.

“We don’t know why these rapes are happening, but one thing is clear,” said Dr. Mukwege, who works in South Kivu Province, the epicenter of Congo’s rape epidemic. “They are done to destroy women.”

Eastern Congo is going through another one of its convulsions of violence, and this time it seems that women are being systematically attacked on a scale never before seen here. According to the United Nations, 27,000 sexual assaults were reported in 2006 in South Kivu Province alone, and that may be just a fraction of the total number across the country.

“The sexual violence in Congo is the worst in the world,” said John Holmes, the United Nations under secretary general for humanitarian affairs. “The sheer numbers, the wholesale brutality, the culture of impunity — it’s appalling.”

The days of chaos in Congo were supposed to be over. Last year, this country of 66 million people.."
Of course, the copious amounts of rapes by Black people in the Congo and by Black people in the United States has absolute no correlation, but the reality of rape in South Africa is much worse:

"One in four men in South Africa have admitted to rape and many confess to attacking more than one victim, according to a study that exposes the country's endemic culture of sexual violence.

Three out of four rapists first attacked while still in their teens, the study found. One in 20 men said they had raped a woman or girl in the last year.

South Africa is notorious for having one of the highest levels of rape in the world. Only a fraction are reported, and only a fraction of those lead to a conviction."

What does this tell us about Black people, when we are confronted with the numbers from the Congo, South Africa and the United States? It tells us the United Nations is doing a good thing in combating rape and trying to define it as a tool of war, and since the UN is located in New York City, it needs look no further than the United States to view a real war.

Of course, white people in the United States don't really count as a collective people at all, as they are just individuals and previously engaged in open warfare against the indigenous people of America and for centuries raped the colored populations of the world as they tried to take it by force.

So consider the actions of Black people now payback for centuries of being raped by the white man.

Stuff Black People Don't Like includes the United Nations declaring rape a tool of war, for the numbers indicate that 100 white women are raped everyday by Black people in America, a number that correlates to the number of Africans raped in the Congo each day.

A real war is being waged in America - just like in the Congo and if the UN is serious about stopping rape, they need look no further than within the borders of the country that houses that global institution.
